“Respondeu a multidão: Tens demônio.”
Definitivamente Jesus tinha ousadia.
(...) Eclesiastes 9. 16, 18.
When you are experiencing a problem, an adverse situation is common to have the feeling that that moment will never pass.
But everything depends on the perspective we are having, because we know that everything passes.
The question of what is a short or long, depends on the whole we have as a reference.
If we have to live with a problem for 30 years. You may think: "30 years! That's too long! "
"Why do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day as our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what we see, but you can not see, because what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. "2 Corinthians 4:16-18
It is not specified what is "light and momentary," how long it refers, but using the example above. Though they are 30 years, 50 years, a lifetime, it will still be momentary.
Understand that if we have the prospect of our life on this earth, say 80 years, 30 years or 50 years is too much.
But for Noah, it would be 50 years? Noah who lived 950 years! When he went through the flood, he was 600 years! Think what would be 80 years? Not represent even a tenth of your entire life.
Here are some examples of the life span of the patriarchs, and to question which is 30 years in the life of each one:
Adam - 930 years Seven - 912 years Enos - 905 years No - 600 years Abraham - 175 years
On the other hand, as a tortoise can live 200 years, a dog lives 15 years and 30 days a fly.
I wish you would leave the human perspective of our present. And notice the time in a macro.
God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, Who was, is and always will be. There has never been nor will there be another.
Warning: He created the universe did not emerge with the universe.
We estimate today that the universe is about 15 billion years! And that planet Earth is about 14.5 billion years!
Now, with reference to 15 billion years, we can not consider any such momentary affliction? Hallelujah!
And most important: achieving for us an eternal glory!
I'm trying to imagine the New Jerusalem. I know I can never see an approximation of how it really is.
"The wall was made of jasper and the city of pure gold, like the pure glass. The foundations of city walls were decorated with all manner of precious stones. The first ground was decorated with jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth with emerald, the fifth sardonyx with, with the sixth carnelian, the seventh with chrysolite, the eighth with beryl, with the ninth topaz, the tenth with chrysoprase, the eleventh hyacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The town's main street was pure gold, like transparent glass. "Revelation 21.
Now see and imagine:
Is not that great and glorious?
Imagine living forever in the midst of golden streets, face to face with God! Power worship him forever!
Never know what is pain, sorrow, death ... And having all this only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
It is wonderful to be part of that Kingdom!
"Remember this, dear: for the Lord a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." 2 Peter 3:8
"In fact, a thousand years for you are like yesterday when it passed, as the evening hours." Psalm 90:4
Even knowing the beginning, knowing the future, what we have is today! Today is what matters!
"The end of things is better than its beginning, and the patient is better than the proud." Ecclesiastes 7:8
Each day is truly a gift from God. An opportunity to know him more, we need to correct, improve, asking for forgiveness, to speak of his love for another person.
There will be bad days and they are many, but the time will come "first things" will have passed! I love thinking about it! That the entire history of humanity is summed up simply as the "first things". Think about it!
Let us be faithful to the end!
God has the best for each one of us here on this earth and after!
No matter the adversity, will only improve! You can only get better! We are on a journey on the way to our house !!!!!
Travelling is a pleasure, who does not? But surely the best part of traveling is coming home !!!!! Hallelujah !!!!!
Fico tentando imaginar a Nova Jerusalém.
É maravilhoso poder fazer parte desse Reino!
Aleluia!!!!!
"And beware of men: for they shall deliver you up to the courts and scourge you in their synagogues, for my sake you shall be brought before governors and kings. (...) You will be hated by all because of my name. "Matthew 10:17-22
"I saw the souls of the Headless because the testimony of Jesus and because of the Word of God, who had not worshiped the beast nor his image. (...) Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection (...) shall be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him a thousand years "Revelation 20.4,6.
The persecution of the Church is commonly related to the time of Acts. Especially for those of us in Brazil, this seems only a matter of a remote past, or an equally remote future.
We are blessed to still be able to speak freely of God's Word, even though we have reports of transfers to the explicit right to religious freedom. The Federal Constitution, in Article 5, VI, provides the freedom to be inviolable conscience and belief, guaranteeing the free exercise of religious cults and guaranteeing, as provided by law, the protection of places of worship and their liturgies. The section VII of Article 5 stipulates that no person shall be deprived of rights because of religious belief or philosophical or political conviction, unless he invokes it to exempt himself from a legal obligation imposed upon everyone and refuse to perform an alternative fixed by law. Article 19, I, prohibits the states, municipalities, the Union and the Federal District to establish religious cults or churches, embarrass them or keep working with them or their representatives relations of dependency or alliance, except in accordance with the law the collaboration of public interest.
Because we have this freedom, the reality of Christian persecution in often seems distant, exaggerated and fanciful.
Many may say that this has always happened and is not anything new, such as in Ecclesiastes 1.7,10:
"Generation and generation will come, but the earth remains forever. (...) Is there anything that can be said, See this is new? No! It was during the centuries that went before us. "
''In recent centuries, Christians were persecuted by other religious groups, including Muslims and Hindus, and atheists States and the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China.
Persecution of Christians has been happening in dozens of countries such as Iran, Uzbekistan, the Maldives, Cuba and Eritrea.
Anti-Christian movement is a political, philosophical or religious and which aims to tackle the Christian religious and political institutions, having different fundamentals. Among them, one of the most famous is based on Friedrich Nietzsche's nihilistic view through the books 'Thus Spake Zarathustra' and 'Antichrist'.''Wikepedia
Let's do some news just three days;
04/08/2011 - Zanzibar - Muslim extremists burn down churches 3/8/2011 - Eritrea - Christians are still imprisoned in Eritrea 3/8/2011 - Laos - Persecution intensified further by the government 03/08/2011 - Iraq - Suicide bomber leaves the church at least 15 injured 08/02/2011 - India - Children affected by violence continue to be neglected
08/02/2011 - Cuba - Shepherd has granted asylum, but is prevented from leaving the country
You know what are the countries with the greatest persecution of Christians?
Classification of countries by persecution 1 North Korea 2 Iran 3 Afghanistan 4 Saudi Arabia 5 Somalia 6 Maldives 7 Yemen 8 Iraq 9 Uzbekistan 10 Laos 11 Pakistan 12 Eritrea 13 Mauritania 14 Bhutan 15 Turkmenistan 16 China 17 Qatar 18 Vietnam 19 Egypt 20 Chechnya 21 Comoros 22 Algeria 23 Nigeria (north) 24 Azerbaijan 25 Libya 26 Oman 27 Myanmar 28 Kueit 29 Brunei 30 Turkey 31 Morocco 32 India 33 Tajikistan 34 UAE 35 Sudan (north) 36 Zanzibar (island of Tanzania) 37 Tunisia 38 Syria 39 Djibouti 40 Jordan 41 Cuba 42 Belarus 43 Ethiopia 44 Palestine 45 Bahrain 46 Kyrgyzstan 47 Bangladesh 48 Indonesia 49 Sri Lanka 50 Malaysia 51 Russia
These realities can not be denied and makes us reflect. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I believe that Jesus is returning and that our generation will witness this moment long awaited by saints!
Let it be clear: "The day and hour no one knows, neither the Son except the Father"
But Jesus makes us different signs, that only believers can recognize. Let us be vigilant so that the day we do not take by surprise, like a thief.
We pray for nations, for our brothers, by the mercies of God in our lives and our country.
Now, you see, the Word of God is faithful and every comma will be fulfilled. Be prepared for it.
Jesus, however, leaves us a direction:
"But when they persecute you in one town, flee to another, for verily I say unto you not have gone through the cities of Israel until the coming of the Son of Man." Matthew 10:23
I understand that in a greater or lesser extent, we receive Christ we suffer some kind of retaliation or persecution.
Spiritually, we are not ones who in this world because the world of the evil lies. And the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit.
However, our mission is not changed at all. March, march, march to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth, starting with our home.
"For crying out to me, Moses, tell the people of Israel to march."
"Fear not the things you have to suffer. Behold, the devil will put some of you, that ye may be put to the test, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and give thee a crown of life. (...) The winner in any way hurt by the second death. "Revelation 2:10-11.
Dear, let's fight the good fight and keep our faith!
Apocalipse 2.10-11.
Queridos, vamos combater o bom combate e guardar nossa fé!
Today I will write about one of the best known passages in the Bible: The Resurrection of Lazarus. Before, I would open a small parenthesis, I believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, then narrated the various resurrections in the Bible happen today. Although it may seem absurd to the "world". Going back to Lazarus. I've seen a few times, preaching about the real history that is outlined in the book of John, Chapter 11. I do not remember any other approach other than the symbolism of when Jesus called Lazarus out of the cave, saying, "Lazarus, come forth."
But I would like to share here, the literal and comprehensive side of this fact.
Once we get the news about the illness of Lazarus, Jesus had as a beloved friend, says in my opinion, with serenity and conviction, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it. "
There was a very strong way that disease, but which for many can be as "punishment" from God by sin or evil done.
This is the strongest part of this message to me, truly shows how God is in control of all things and that what seems a curse, is often the case for the Glory of God.
Reminds me in Egypt when the people of Israel is pursued by Pharaoh and his army. In Exodus 14. 13 to 14.17 says: "But Moses said to them: Fear not, be still and see the salvation of the Lord that today, you will: for the Egyptians whom you see today, never to see again. The Lord will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. (...) And the Lord said to Moses: (...) I will be glorified through Pharaoh and all his army. " The Lord is faithful, and he tells us, do not fear adversity you may be going through today, will be defeated, overcome, for the glory of God. The problem you are experiencing today, we will not see.
Jesus, after he was notified about Lazarus was not immediately go to him. There are religions that use this passage to "prove" that the resurrection never existed, inasmuch as he was only with catalepsy. But as I was talking with a friend this week, God is perfect, and he recorded all things to argue against any false doctrine.
For make no mistake, Jesus says that Lazarus was asleep, and that is where the pseudo scientists like to call and say, see, he's just sleeping like a cataleptic. But as I said, Jesus leaves no gaps. He emphasizes: "Then Jesus told them plainly, Lazarus is dead, and for your sake I am glad that was not there, that you may believe."
Jesus allowed Lazarus to stay dead for several days. What catalepsy ruled out completely. When was the right time, Jesus will meet his friend. Upon arrival, one who knew him did not believe that he could and still can do all things. Note well, those were people around who knew Jesus, and still thought they were all gone.
Even us, the "close" to the Lord, do we doubt that He can do all things? What will be too great for God?
Martha to talk to Jesus, says that Lazarus is dead. See how wonderful the Lord tells us: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though dead, shall live, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? "
You believe that?
Martha says: "Yes, Lord." And a wonderful miracle happened!
When Mary, the sister of Lazarus, came to Jesus wept. And Jesus, knowing the purpose of that death and knowing that Lazarus back to life, also wept.
What shows me that the Lord has compassion on each of us. And that every tear will be a tear of Jesus. A crying a tear or show weakness, but rather the love of God in our hearts.
"Weep you with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice."
Many who thought they were witnessing that moment because Jesus did not save his friend. If he healed, why not healed before?
Sometimes we want to take the place of God, thinking the best and know the right path for our lives. As if we did something in this life ...
Lazarus had been dead for four days. Imagine that the physical body.
Then he makes a prayer of thanksgiving to God for this miracle and says, "Lazarus, come forth."
Jesus Christ is, is God's power, love, caring, miracles, the authority.
I once saw a man of God saying: Our God is the God of the impossible, but the God of all things are possible! Hallelujah!
In the following chapters, we show the importance of this miracle. Through him, multitudes believed on Jesus.
Close with the words of our Saviour, "Jesus said to him: Did I not tell you if you believed you would see the glory of God?" Stay in Peace!
